Minnewater, the Lake of Love

Minnewater was once the inner harbour of Bruges and is popularly known as the Lake of Love. The Poertoren tower and the swans on the water are still there, though it is now mostly a quiet city park.

Stand on the Minnewaterbrug bridge with the Poertoren tower on the bank to your left, and look north up the long stretch of water towards the Beguinage.
